internship- fall 2012 - Panetta Congressional Internship

Greetings,

The Institute for Civic & Community Engagement (ICCE) is happy to announce that it will be accepting applications for the 2012 Panetta Congressional Internship.  Applications are due February 20^th, 2012.

As you may recall from years past, this prestigious internship is open to all students who will be either Juniors or Seniors in the Fall of 2012 and includes an expenses paid two week training retreat at the Panetta Institute at CSU Monterey in August, and then an 11 week internship in a Washington D.C. office of a California member of the US House of Representatives during the Fall 2012 semester.  Travel to and from Washington, along with housing expenses and a stipend will be covered by the program.

All faculty members are strongly urged to recommend qualified students for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
